Chem-E Cube Fellow
Program

The Chem-E Cube Fellow program is a paid summer internship program that supports up to three outstanding undergraduate students to conduct research and design activities towards the development of a modular 1-cubic-foot chemical plant for the AIChE Chem-E Cube competition. This is a 6-week internship program requiring 20 hours per week of work starting from June 24th. The Department of Chemical Engineering invites outstanding undergraduate students to apply for this program to lead the design, fabrication, and testing of a cube capable of meeting the annual challenge (e.g., Direct Air Capture) while adhering to strict size and safety constraints. The three selected students will receive recognition as "Chem-E Cube Fellows" and will spearhead the team’s efforts in the four core competition deliverables: The Cube performance, The Pitch (business case), The Ad, and The Poster.
